Marteleze completed her undergraduate degree majoring in Psychology and Sport at the University of Pretoria. Thereafter she obtained her honours degree in Psychology at the University of Pretoria. She obtained her Masters degree in Counselling Psychology at the University of Pretoria. She completed her internship at the Student Support center of the University of Pretoria.
During her Internship year, Marteleze provided therapy to students as well as career assessment and guidance. She is registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Counselling Psychologist in independent practice. Marteleze has also been involved in assessment of athletes in 2013 and at the High Performance Centre (HPC) at the University of Pretoria.
Marteleze was one of the psychologists for team Gauteng at the SA Games in 2011. She was the team psychologist for team Gauteng at the 2013 and 2014 SA National Schools Championships, where she conducted individual sessions and group sessions.
The work consisted of therapy, performance enhancement and group cohesion. Marteleze has also been involved in training the coaches for the SA Games in Sport Psychology.
Marteleze is currently in full time private practice where she renders psychotherapy. She also provides psychotherapy for patients and family members in Sub-Acute Hospitals.
After having qualified as a Counselling Psychologist in 2012, she worked part time as a student advisor at the University of Pretoria, where she rendered assistance to students regarding study methods, time management, stress management and therapy. She is now in full time private practice.
Using Integrative Interactional psychotherapy in treating individuals (children, adolescents and adults) with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, couples, adjustment challenges, hypnosis, individuals with specific interpersonal difficulties, sport psychology, performance enhancement, dealing with sport
injuries, rendering psychological services in sub-acute hospitals and trauma counselling. Marteleze also has an interest in assessment, more specifically - career assessment, subject choices, aptitude tests and career guidance.
